Gift Naming Opportunities

Many of our alumni choose to mark their graduation anniversary or other special occasion with a celebratory gift to the school. This is also a unique way to celebrate a milestone event, or to provide a gift for a hard-to-buy-for-person.

While some people choose to give to bursary funds for our students, others prefer something more tangible. For people in the latter category, we are pleased to offer several commemoration options to choose from. Whatever your choice, we would be pleased to send a card to the recipient notifying them of your gift.

Bursary & Scholarship Funds - donation of any amount

About 30% of Rothesay Netherwood Students receive some form of financial aid to allow them to attend our school.  Helping others is one of the principal values of our school, and our bursary and scholarship funds allow us to help students with financial needs. 

Alumni Chair  - $600

Beautiful maple dining hall chairs bear the names of many of the former students and classes of our school. Names are engraved into the back of the chair, and the school crest of your choice adorns the front.

Tribute Tree  - $600

Celebrate with a living tribute that will be enjoyed by future generations of students. Choose a young maple, chestnut, flowering crab, or pine. A tribute name plaque will be displayed at the base of each tree.

Theatre Seat  - $1,000

The spectacular Théâtre Susan B. Ganong was named in honour of a former Headmistress of Netherwood School for Girls. Should you choose to purchase a theatre seat, your name will be included on the recognition display in the theatre. This is a great way to celebrate your special occasion while supporting the performing arts at Rothesay Netherwood School.

Kirk House or Quinn House Room  - $4,000

Kirk House is our junior boys residence, and Quinn House is our senior girls residence. Many alumni classes choose to sponsor a room as a way to commemorate special reunions or celebrate favourite teachers. A tribute plaque will be displayed outside the room selected.
