The RNS FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS was a new initiative created in the fall of 2017 to promote the Arts among youth in New Brunswick. After a two-year hiatus, we are excited to host the fourth annual Festival of the Arts. Participants will take part in workshops and demonstrate their skills in a showcase and gallery presentation. This year’s festival will take place on Friday, October 21st, with workshops throughout the day and into the evening. Professional instructors will offer more than 25 different Drama, Art, Music, and Dance workshops. The festival will culminate with a performance showcase and art gallery. Students are encouraged to bring their artwork for display at the gallery and instruments to perform.
The workshops this year will include graphic design, textiles, pottery, pastels, drawing, choral singing, harmonizing, music composition, instrumental music, acting, directing, improv, playwriting, musical theatre, stage combat, hip hop, tap, jazz and much, much more!
