Welcome to RNS Camps

Our goal with RNS Camps is to run a fantastic program where campers can't wait for the next camp to begin. In the upcoming months and years, we will continue to expand and grow the RNS Camps brand, providing a number of different camps, including ESL camps, Multisport camps, STEAM camps, Soccer and Gusto Hockey camps.

  • RNS Camps and Zenith Health and Performance - Summer Program 2022

    RNS Camps and Zenith Health and Performance are excited to announce two unique and exclusive camps this summer running Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 28-August 4 - REGISTER HERE

     
    Intro to Strength Development Camp 
    Join RNS Camps and Luke Couture, Performance Specialist with Zenith Health and Performance, in an amazing Intro to Strength Development Camp. This 6-week camp is for participants from ages 11-17 and will run every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8-9am. Under Coach Luke’s leadership and guidance, participants will learn equipment safety, familiarize themselves with proper movement and movement techniques, feel comfortable with the process of lifting weights safely, and learn through a series of progressions. This camp is specifically for participants who are beginners to strength training with little or no training experience.  
    Intro to Strength Development Camp
    Ages: 11-17 year olds
    Location: RNS Isobel Stollery Fitness Centre
    Date/Time: Tuesdays, June 28-August 2
                        Thursdays, June 30-August 4
                        8-9am

    High Performance Off-Season Camp
    RNS Camps and Luke Couture, Performance Specialist with Zenith Health and Performance are excited to offer a High Performance Off-Season Camp. This 6-week camp is for high-performance athletes, with an ambition to play competitive sports at the school, provincial or national level.  The camp is open to athletes ages 12-19 and will run every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 7-8am. Through a disciplined and structured approach, Coach Luke will lead campers through a periodized strength training program that will include a PDF training program to track and monitor their weights.
    High Performance Off-Season Camp
    Ages: 12-19 year olds
    Location: RNS Isobel Stollery Fitness Centre
    Date/Time: Tuesdays, June 28-August 2
                        Thursdays, June 30-August 4
                        7-8am
    Cost: $287.50 (HST included)
    Max # of participants: 12

    Early Bird Special - Register before June 1st and one parent of a registered camper will receive a free gym membership for the duration of the camp - June 28-Aug 4. The Fitness Centre is open for members daily from 6am-10pm.  
  • RNS Camps - 2022 Session 1 - Week of July 18-21

    SESSION 1 - Week of Monday, July 18 - Thursday, July 21, 2022 - REGISTER HERE
    RNS Camps offers 3 separate camps this week:

    Multisport Camp
    Age: Campers who are starting Kindergarten to those entering Grade 7.
    Cost: $225/Camper (HST included) 
    RNS Camps’ Multisport Camp gives campers an opportunity to experience a wide variety of sports, games, and team challenges. Blending instruction, competition, and fun challenges create a great experience for all participants. This camp provides a fun introduction to many traditional sports through modified game-play and skill-building sessions. Co-operative tasks and challenges help these developing athletes to develop an appreciation of teamwork, adaptability, and respect for instruction and rules of play. Our aim for this camp is to nurture an appreciation of sport and to provide an environment where all campers achieve success regardless of their athletic ability. Campers will be grouped depending on numbers, age, and ability. Participants also realize measurable gains in coordination, confidence, and appreciation for various sports and games. 

    S.T.E.A.M. Camp
    This camp is full and registration is closed
    Ages: Entering Grade 1-3 
              Entering Grade 4- 7
    Cost: $235/camper (HST included) 
    During the 4-day S.T.E.A.M. CAMP, campers will have an opportunity to explore engineering, coding, math, art and science through hands-on activities, and outdoor exploration. Campers will be able to work in pairs to complete science experiments and engineering challenges along with outdoor fun such as scavenger hunts, hikes and camp games.

    Middle School MBA
    Ages:
    Entering Grade 5 to entering Grade 9.
    Cost:
    $250/camper (HST included)
    We have teamed with Middle School MBA to offer this awesome camp that will help campers move from the classroom to the boardroom. Campers will learn how an economy works, its structure and purpose, the roles of labour, capital and entrepreneurs - just to name a few topics. We will dig into the business processes, funding and historical developments of markets all in a fun-filled environment.

    RNS Camps is excited to offer our 4 day Leadership Camp this summer. The aim of this experience is to show campers how they can lead in many different aspects of life, different ways to lead and finding their own leadership style. During the program, the campers will be given many different opportunities to work through tasks and scenarios in a safe and supporting environment so they immediately gain awareness and confidence in applying these new skills in their life.

    Middle School Film Camp
    Ages: Entering Grade 5 to entering Grade 9.
    Cost: $250/camper (HST included) 
    RNS Camps’ Film Camp gives campers an opportunity to learn how to write, star in, and produce their own short film with a cell phone camera. Blending of instruction and hands-on creation ensures a great experience for all participants. This camp provides a fun introduction to film production through screenplay writing, shot planning, acting, filming, and editing. Our aim for this camp is to nurture an appreciation of film production while providing an environment where all campers achieve success and build new skills. A cell phone is not required, but if a student has one that they can bring, that would be helpful. The camp will culminate with a red carpet premiere of the films produced during the camp.

  • RNS Camps - 2022 Session 4 - Week of August 8-11

    Multisport Camp

    Cost: $225/Camper (HST included) 
    RNS Camps’ Multisport Camp gives campers an opportunity to experience a wide variety of sports, games, and team challenges. This camp provides a fun introduction to many traditional sports through modified game-play and skill-building sessions.     Coding Camp - This camp is full and registration is closed 
    Ages: Entering Grade 3 to entering Grade 7.
    Cost: $235/camper (HST included) 
    During the 4 day Coding Camp, campers will be able to build robots and learn basic coding such as making a robot move, making a robot follow a line, making a robot turn, using basic colour and touch sensors. Campers will also learn how to build a robotic arm and use it to lift and move items in a game board challenge. Campers will be working in groups of 2 and we will only be registering a maximum of 18 campers. 
     
    Middle School G.O. Camp
    Ages:
    Entering Grade 6 to entering Grade 9.
    Cost:
    $250/camper (HST included)
    G.O. Camp is a 4-day outdoor experience aimed at giving youth the skills and confidence, through numerous activities, to Get Outside and enjoy nature. They will learn essential skills such as how to read maps, fire-making, trip preparation, knots and ropework, and outdoor cooking. Due to the nature of the camp, registration will be capped at 16 participants.

  • Academic Camp Canada

    Academic Camp Canada is proud to offer an unique academic Summer Experience in Atlantic Canada. This intensive two to six-weeks program is designed for students aged 12 to 17 years who love to learn and discover, who wish to develop academic skills for future study, develop academic, leadership and social skills, experience life at a boarding school or just have an enjoyable Summer experience with nationalities from all over the world!
     
    EXPLORERS (age 12-14)
    Our Exploration classes will help you in grades 9 and 10. We develop your academic skills and we give you a strong foundation for your future learning. You will explore and discover the full range of academic subject areas including English, mathematics, general science, the arts, social studies and social sciences. 

    ENGAGERS (age 15-17)
    Our Engagement classes will help you in grades 11 and 12. You are ready to choose the subjects you want to specialise in and you know what you want to focus on.     MEDICAL STUDIES:
    This is a fantastic and practical two weeks programme, tailor-made for students who want to study medicine. It is lead by experienced staff who will share and advice students from their own experience. Engage in our interactive, innovative and immersive three-week medical program, including the following:
    • The application process to medical school and helping you prepare
    • Anatomy, physiology and pathology of organ systems
    • Hot topics such as antibiotic resistance, ethics and the law
    • Visits to medical institutions such as hospitals, GPs and research facilities
    • Link to a local medical school in New Brunswick
    • Team work, communication and leadership workshops
    • First aid course leading to a qualification
    • Research project
    There is also an accredited Be a leader programme and an exciting leisure programme. Explore Canada on our excursions around New Brunswick, choose elective activities you want to enjoy and discover new activities from kayaking to raft building all on our excellent campus.
