Welcome to RNS Camps

Our goal with RNS Camps is to run a fantastic program where campers can't wait for the next camp to begin. In the upcoming months and years, we will continue to expand and grow the RNS Camps brand, providing a number of different camps, including ESL camps, Multisport camps, STEAM camps, Soccer and Gusto Hockey camps.

    Multisport Camp:
    Age: Campers who are starting Kindergarten to entering Grade 6.
    Cost: $230/Camper (HST included) 
    RNS Camps’ MULTISPORT CAMP gives campers an opportunity to experience a wide variety of sports, games, and team challenges. Blending instruction, competition, and fun challenges create a great experience for all participants. This camp provides a fun introduction to many traditional sports through modified game-play and skill-building sessions. Cooperative tasks and challenges help these developing athletes to develop an appreciation of teamwork, adaptability, and respect for instruction and rules of play. Our aim for this camp is to nurture an appreciation of sport and to provide an environment where all campers achieve success regardless of their athletic ability. Campers will be grouped depending on numbers, age, and ability. Participants also realize measurable gains in coordination, confidence, and appreciation for various sports and games. 

    S.T.E.A.M. Camp: 
    Ages: Entering Grade 1 to entering Grade 6
    Cost: $237.50/camper (HST included) 
    During the 4-day S.T.E.A.M. CAMP, campers will have an opportunity to explore engineering, coding, math, art and science through hands-on activities, and outdoor exploration. Campers will be able to work in pairs to complete science experiments and engineering challenges along with outdoor fun such as scavenger hunts, hikes and camp games.

    Middle School Film Camp
    Ages:
    Entering Grade 5 to entering Grade 9.
    Cost:
    $250/camper (HST included) 
    RNS Camps’ MIDDLE SCHOOL FILM CAMP gives campers an opportunity to learn how to write, star in, and produce their own short film with a cell phone camera. Blending of instruction and hands-on creation ensures a great experience for all participants. This camp provides a fun introduction to film production through screenplay writing, shot planning, acting, filming, and editing. Our aim for this camp is to nurture an appreciation of film production while providing an environment where all campers achieve success and build new skills. A cell phone is not required, but if a student has one that they can bring, that would be helpful. The camp will culminate with a red carpet premiere of the films produced during the camp. 

    Middle School Leadership Camp
    Ages:
    Entering Grade 5 to entering Grade 9
    Cost:
    $250/camper (HST included)
    RNS Camps is excited to offer our 4-day MIDDLE SCHOOL LEADERSHIP CAMP this summer. The aim of this experience is to show campers how they can lead in many different aspects of life, different ways to lead and finding their own leadership style. During the program, the campers will be given many different opportunities to work through tasks and scenarios in a safe and supporting environment so they immediately gain awareness and confidence in applying these new skills in their life. 

    Coding Camp
    Ages: Entering Grade 3 to entering Grade 6.
    Cost: $237.50/camper (HST included) 
    During the 4-day CODING CAMP, campers will be able to build robots and learn basic coding such as making a robot move, making a robot follow a line, making a robot turn, using basic colour and touch sensors. Campers will also learn how to build a robotic arm and use it to lift and move items in a game board challenge. Campers will be working in groups of 2 and we will only be registering a maximum of 18 campers. 


    Middle School G(et).O(utside). Camp
    Ages:
    Entering Grade 5 to entering Grade 9.
    Cost:
    $250/camper (HST included)
    G.O. Camp is a 4-day outdoor experience aimed at giving youth the skills and confidence, through numerous activities, to Get Outside and enjoy nature. They will learn essential skills such as how to read maps, fire-making, trip preparation, knots and ropework, and outdoor cooking. Due to the nature of the camp, registration will be capped at 16 participants.

  • Academic Camp Canada - Summer 2023

    Academic Camp Canada is proud to offer an unique academic Summer Experience in Atlantic Canada. This intensive two to four-week program is designed for students aged 12 to 17 years who love to learn and discover, who wish to develop academic skills for future study, develop academic, leadership and social skills, experience life at a boarding school or just have an enjoyable Summer experience with nationalities from all over the world!
     
    EXPLORERS (age 12-14)
    Our Exploration classes will help you in grades 9 and 10. We develop your academic skills and we give you a strong foundation for your future learning. Explore and discover any of the following workshops:  STEAM, English workshop, RNS leadership, entrepreneurship, writing workshop, presentation, interviews and public speaking, ECBA girls' and boys' basketball, (14+ only)  environmental impact, English workshop, applied maths, RNS Get Outside, robotics multi-sports, dance workshop, art portfolio, IT skills for student, science workshop.

    ENGAGERS (age 15-17)
    Our Engagement classes will help you in grades 11 and 12. You are ready to engage in depth and plan for your future.   You will learn how to develop your critical thinking and become more independent in your learning. Workshops to chose from include: STEAM, English workshop, entrepreneurship, writing workshop, presentation, interviews and public speaking, ECBA girls' and boys' basketball, environmental impact, English workshop, applied maths, robotics multi-sports, dance workshop, art portfolio, IT skills for student, science workshop
