Get Involved

There is a tradition of support and volunteerism within the RNS community. We are fortunate that many of our parents, alumni, and friends choose to contribute to the success of our students and school. This commitment is essential to ensure that RNS can continue to meet the needs of the students and offer innovative programs taught by engaged and dedicated teachers.

Be Involved!

At RNS, we encourage our community to become involved. You can do this by attending our various school events and fundraisers, including:
  • the Top of the Hill Dinner and Auction
  • the RNS Art Show and Sale
  • the Grade 12 Lobster Dinner
  • Alumni Reunion Weekend
  • OMG Changemakers Speaker Series
These events are not only fun ways to connect with your RNS community, but they also help to raise critical funds to benefit our students. Be sure to check the dates below and keep an eye on your email for information on these events and more.

Your participation is greatly appreciated and makes a tangible difference to the sense of community at RNS.

Be a Volunteer!

Do you have a few hours to give your school this year? Each year, a great many alumni, parents, and friends volunteer at Rothesay Netherwood School.

Let us know how you can volunteer with RNS:
  • assist with coordination of regional Alumni and Parent events
  • act as Alumni Class Reunions coordinators
  • serve as Alumni and Parent Class Reps for fundraising
  • welcome alumni and parents new to your city, as an Alumni or Parent Regional Rep or as an RNS University Rep
  • assist with Reunion Weekend activities
  • offer senior alumni rides to regional events
  • help coordinate outreach activities or projects in various regions
  • act as guest writers for publications
  • help to organize school archives
  • serve as guest speaker for classes
  • help with RNS Auction and Art Show
Regardless of the amount of time, number of projects, or location, each and every volunteer's help is appreciated. There is no way we could offer the programs we do for our students and alumni were it not for your assistance. Thank you!
