Join us on Saturday, November 7th for An Evening of Silver and Gold: Celebrating 150 Years, an unforgettable celebration of the enduring spirit, rich traditions, and bright future of the Rothesay Netherwood School community.

As we mark 150 years of excellence, we invite you to gather with friends, families, alumni, and neighbours for a special evening inspired by the silver and gold of this remarkable milestone. Together, we'll reflect on generations of memories, honour the legacy of those who came before us, and celebrate the students who will carry that legacy forward. Enjoy an evening filled with stories, laughter, music, fine food, and the warmth of a community that has thrived for a century and a half.

At RNS, our community is a place where when we arrive on the Hill, we belong right away. The annual Top of the Hill Dinner and Auction brings together those who are new to RNS and those whose connection spans decades, creating an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and invest in the next chapter of our school's story. From the silver threads of our history to the golden promise of our future, this is a night to come together in support of our students and the traditions that make RNS so special.

Join in the excitement of our live and silent auctions featuring one-of-a-kind travel experiences, sports tickets, weekend adventures, group dinners and tastings, artwork, services, and more. Whether you're bidding, celebrating, reminiscing, or reconnecting, you'll be helping ensure that the next 150 years of RNS are as inspiring as the last.

Auction Progam

6pm Doors open for registration and check-in for all guests; bidder cards available; hors d'oeuvres, scotch & whiskey tasting table, cash bar, raffle draw ticket sales, silent auction viewing and bidding; live auction preview.

7:15pm Welcome and Opening Remarks

7:30pm Buffet dinner service begins. Dessert, coffee, and tea stations will be available at each end of the dining hall. 

8:30pm Silent Auction closes, Heads & Tails Game

8:40pm Head of School Remarks

8:45pm Live Auction begins

9:30pm Raffle draw; Closing remarks; Payment & Check-Out

Keeping Us Moving!

All proceeds raised at this year's Top of the Hill Dinner & Auction will support the purchase of a 24-passenger RNS bus, already on the road and helping our students access the many athletic, academic, service, and co-curricular opportunities that are central to the RNS experience. Your generosity will help ensure this important investment continues to serve students for years to come. Please bid generously and help us reach our fundraising goal.
General Admission Tickets are $125 per person. General admission seating is assigned. Guests will be thoughtfully grouped at tables of 8 with others who share a similar connection to RNS. Tables include two bottles of complimentary house wine (one red and one white) and general buffet service. Ticket purchaser (individual or organization) receives charitable receipt for $50.
 
"Silver" Dinner Tables for $1,000 ($450 charitable receipt)
Seats 8 people; includes preferred buffet service, two bottles of house wine on the table (one red and one white); purchaser (individual or organization) receives charitable receipt for $450.
"Gold" Dinner Tables for $1,500 ($950 charitable receipt)
Seats 8 people; includes preferred buffet service, two bottles of premium wine on the table (one red and one white); purchaser (individual or organization) receives charitable receipt for $950.
"Legacy" Dinner Tables for $2,500 ($1,950 charitable receipt)
Seats 8 people; includes premier buffet service, two bottles of premium wine (one red and one white) on the table; one glass of Prosecco for each guest; purchaser (individual or organization) receives charitable receipt for $1,950.

All ticket and table guests have access to the complimentary scotch and whiskey tasting bar.

Need to Know

Are there physical tickets? No, there are no physical tickets for you or your guests. Once you have registered/paid online or with the Development Office for your ticket/table, we add your name and the names of any guest(s) to the Registration List. When you arrive that evening, proceed to the Check-In Desk to let us know you are here!

How Can I Pay? Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX all accepted (bars and raffles included.) Cheques, Etransfers, and RNS School Account Charges will only be accepted for Tickets, Tables, and auction items payments. Please note that there is no ATM on site.

What if I have an allergy or special dietary request? Just let us know ahead of time in the Development Office by emailing rsvp@rns.cc and we'll make sure it is taken care of. All food in the buffet will be labeled for your reassurance, and when in doubt, just ask.

Parking

Parking is available by following the road around campus by turning right at the top of the Hill. A guest parking lot is available to the right off Netherwood Lane when you approach the Science Hall Traffic Circle. Additional parking is available behind Memorial Arena by driving through the traffic circle. Heritage Hall, the dining hall, is located just a few steps from all both parking venues.

Please do not drive past any traffic bollards; roadways/pathways in these areas are for pedestrians only.

What Do I Wear?

Dress to celebrate and have a fun night! Guests are encouraged to wear attire suitable for a special evening out with friends (dressy casual). Feeling inspired to arrive in #1 Dress instead? That's perfectly welcome too! Whatever you choose to wear, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and ready to enjoy the evening.
