Janet Blackadar was elected a Governor in 2013, to the Board of Directors in 2017 and served as Chair of the Board from 2018-2023. She graduated from Netherwood School in 1982 and her daughter, Morgan, graduated from RNS in 2016.
Janet lives outside of Fredericton, NB, where she has worked in environmental services for many years. Currently she is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Forestry & Environmental Management program at the University of New Brunswick.
