RNS Students Win Computing Award

On Tuesday, February 16th, Angela Hu ‘22 and Abigail Mayers ‘24 were both recognized as 2021 East Coast recipients of an NCWIT award for Aspirations in Computing at the Award Ceremony hosted by Dalhousie University Faculty of Computer Science. As part of the event, they also attended the Dalhousie University Women in Tech (WiT) online conference.

It is also worth noting that Angela and Abigail are both members of the RNS Technovation NB teams that meet weekly to solve a problem in their community by building a mobile app. They are developing their collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills and will pitch their ideas during the Technovation Competition in April.
