National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
On September 30th, RNS will pause our regular classes to mark the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.
We ask that all students and staff wear an Orange Shirt as a symbol of remembrance for the children, families, and communities impacted by Canadian Residential Schools.
As part of our continued commitment to reconciliation, the day will focus on learning together - students and staff side by side - through educational workshops, activities, quiet reflection, and community connection.
Please come dressed in comfortable clothing and footwear (no uniform), ready to engage in meaningful experiences throughout the day. Programming will run from 8:15-4:00pm. There are no co-curricular activities after school, unless otherwise indicated by your coaches.
Together, we remember. Together, we learn. Together, we take steps toward reconciliation.
