Originally from Yarmouth, NS, Vivek is a 2009 RNS graduate and former Head Prefect. He earned an arts degree with honours from Huron University College at Western and a Masters of Political Management from Carleton University.
Vivek started his career on Parliament Hill where he worked in communications and issues management for the Prime Minister’s Office. Moving from Ottawa to work for the Premier of British Columbia, Vivek eventually settled in Toronto where he worked for Hill+Knowlton Strategies. He is now a Vice President at Switch Health.
Vivek is currently President of the Huron University Alumni Association and a member of Huron’s Board Governors.
Vivek was appointed a school governor in 2021.
