RNS Hands Moncton AAA Rockets First Loss of the Season                                January 15, 2012

Sam Bujold, captain of the RNS Midget AAA Girls Hockey team, led all scorers with four goals and two assists, including the eventual game winner, as the Riverhawks defeated the Moncton AAA Rockets.  The game also marked the return of Liz MacArthur from the injury list as she set up three RNS goals and added her own tally, on a great individual effort, to set the tone for the third period.  Ellen Jenkins and Jessica Burbine also found the back of the net for the Riverhawks.  Emma Brown and Brittany Carroll rounded out the scoring for RNS with assists.  Schyler Campbell and Taylor Dale each had two goals for the Rockets, and Joset LeBlanc scored the fifth goal for Moncton as they rallied from a two goal deficit in the third period, but eventually fell short.
