Kayla Blackmore

Coach Blackmore is the Director of Athletics and Head Coach of the Varsity Girls' Hockey team at RNS. She also teaches History and French at the school.

Kayla played for Team New Brunswick at the 2007 Canada Games and Team Atlantic at the 2008 Under 18 National Championships. She played in the CIS for the St. Thomas University Tommies, where she was Captain, a five-time Academic All-Canadian, the university's all-time leading scorer, and proud recipient of the CIS Marion Hilliard Award and St. Thomas University Female Athlete of the Year Award. Kayla completed her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees, receiving the St. Thomas University Medal for Highest Academic Standing at graduation.

Kayla brings numerous years of experience as she has worked at numerous elite hockey schools and coached in New Brunswick's High Performance Program for over a decade. Kayla was also an Assistant Coach for 2015 Team New Brunswick Women’s Canada Games team.
