We are looking for Dishwashers to join the Kitchen Services Team. There are full and part-time positions available, approximately 20-40 hours per week.  
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and resetting dining areas.
  • Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into the dish machine
  • Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
  • Unload dishes and utensils from the dish machine and organize them properly
  • Empty trash containers regularly
  • Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
  • Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
  • Clean food prep stations and equipment
  • Finish tasks and abide by work schedule 
  • Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures
  • Receive feedback and coaching to grow in an ever-changing environment
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lifting as much as 50 lbs
  • Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly
  • Restaurant or customer service experience an asset
  • Ability to interact with students of all ages and cultures
  • Open to coaching and feedback
  • Positive and approachable manner
  • Time management and problem-solving skills
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as well as filling shifts throughout the calendar year
  • Ability to read and speak in English
  • Ability to Plan and multitask
