Dr. Mirza Nasir Iqbal joined the RNS community as a parent in 2017 when his daughter, Sarah, joined Gr. 6. He was appointed a School Governor in November 2020.
Dr. Iqbal is a graduate of Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan. He obtained his Fellowship degree in Anesthesia from Pakistan and received further training in Anesthesia from Ireland and the University of Toronto, Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Iqbal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesia at Dalhousie University, and also practices as an Anesthesiologist at the Sussex Health Centre in Sussex, NB.
He lives in Rothesay with his wife, Dr Fatima Nasir, and daughter Sarah Nasir '24.
