Girls Survive Grueling Northeastern Midget AAA Road Trip                             November 27, 2011
The first NB Provincial Midget AAA road trip to the northeast had the girl’s squad playing 4 games, in 4 different towns, in 40 hours in a marathon of travel, hotels, and high level hockey competition.  Liz MacArthur and Brittany Poitras led the scoring with two goals apiece during the trip, and Sam Bujold also chipped in two points with a goal and an assist.  Olivia Corkum also added her first goal of the season to the offensive effort.  With Jane Henderson still recovering from the effects of a concussion, Brittany Carroll was called upon to suit up between the pipes, and raised more than a few eyebrows with her outstanding play.  All in all, the team played very well, considering the circumstances, and will get some much deserved rest upon their return to the hill, as they look to host the first NAPHA tournament of the season in Memorial Arena next weekend.
