The start of a new school year is always busy with excitement. Here is the Opening Week schedule to help get you where you need to be. ** A friendly reminder that the Resource Board, found in the MyRNS Portal, is your go-to place for information such as school supplies, packing lists, holidays and breaks, and more. You can always reach out to your Advisor with any questions. **

Grade 12 Events

Monday, September 4th

Grade 12 Boarding students move in between 3pm and 5pm.
  • Day students arrive on campus at 5pm. All students meet in the Irving Gynasium for class-building activities.
  • Grade 12 students and parents/guardians are invited to a Family BBQ at Amphitheatre (next to Quinn Field) beginning at 5:30pm.
  • Following the BBQ, Grade 12 students and parents/guardians are to attend a Grade 12 Information Session in Théâtre Susan B. Ganong.

Boarding Students (All) - Opening Day

Wednesday, September 6th
• 9am to 12pm – Upon arrival on campus, register in Science Hall and then proceed to move into residence.
• 11am to 1pm – Lunch (in Heritage Hall)
• 3:30pm – A meeting for Boarding Students in Théâtre Susan B Ganong (in School House)
 
Boarding Students in Advisor Groups: Bell to Gray
• 12pm to 1pm - Meet your Advisor in Science Hall
• 1pm to 2pm - Orientation Presentation in Théâtre Susan B. Ganong
 
Boarding Students in Advisor Groups: Jay to Wilcox
• 1pm to 2pm - Meet your Advisor in Science Hall
• 2pm to 3pm - Orientation Presentation in Théâtre Susan B. Ganong

Events for Everyone!

  • Reception & Family BBQ – September 6th, 4pm to 6pm at Heritage Hall. Following dinner, students in their #1 Dress meet with their Advisor Groups in front of Memorial Chapel at 6:20pm to walk to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
  • 147th Opening Chapel – September 6th, 7pm (#1 Dress required). Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay.
  • Coffee Morning – September 7th, 8am to 9am at Heritage Hall. All parents/guardians are welcome.
  • First Day of Classes – September 7th, 8:15am (students only, classroom dress, meet with Advisor).
  • Interhouse Day – September 8th, 8:15am t0 4pm (RNS campus).
