The role of the Directors and Governors is one of vision, guidance and accountability. We are fortunate to have many experienced business people, professionals, and educators who give their time and energy to our school by serving on the Board.
The Directors and Governors of Rothesay Netherwood School is composed of a number of individuals and is comprised of alumni, parents, past parents, and friends of the school. This ensures that these roles are represented by the entire school community. In addition, there are two ex-officio members: The Head of School, and the Bishop of Fredericton.
There are 15 members on the Board of Directors. This group meets approximately nine times per year. The Board of Directors meets with the Governors as a whole twice per year, in the fall and in June. All members receive minutes of the Board of Directors meetings as well as other information throughout the year. All major decisions, budgets, and important projects are reviewed by the Board.
