Rothesay Netherwood School's Health Services team is composed of school employees and affiliated health professionals.
The School Nurses are Mrs. Stephanie Taylor, Mrs. Kate Vanhoutte, and Mrs. Brittany Taylor. The Health Centre is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, and Wednesdays from 8:30am until 4:00pm. There is always a nurse on call outside of these hours.
The School Nurses can be reached by contacting the Health Centre at 506-848-0867 or by emailing
Day and boarding students who are ill during the school day are required to check into the Health Centre. If day students are too ill to attend classes, they will be released into their parent’s care after checking in with the nurses at the Health Centre. Boarding students return to their residences in the evening where they receive care from the house parents. Parents will be contacted in cases of serious illness.

The Rothesay Medical Clinic

Dr. Allan Rombaut, Dr. Karen Rombaut, and Dr. Patrick Maloney, serve as the school doctors and are available for boarding students of Rothesay Netherwood School. The nurse makes sure that students are seen in a timely manner. For urgent health care issues, appointments are usually the same day the appointment is requested. For dental care, including emergencies, a local dentist is available for our students.

Ken-Val Rehab & Sports Injury Clinic

Ken-Val Rehab & Sports Injury Clinic provides Athletic Therapy for our students and staff (fee for service). Ken Val Rehab & Sports Injury Clinic has a clinic right on campus within our 4000-square foot, fully equipped Isobel Stollery Fitness Centre. Our goal at RNS is to ensure that any student, who has sustained a sports injury, has a safe reintegration back into school and their sport.
